Pastured Pork
Our pigs are our favorite. We raise them in pasture and woods so they can live stress free natural lives. We rotate them in different paddock every 2-4 weeks. They are able to forage and root for bugs, worms and roots to serve as a natural diet. They are supplemented with feed that is Non-GMO produced and have plenty of clean fresh water for them to enjoy.
The pork you buy at the grocery store is raised in a confinement house where they constantly walk in their on manure and have no fresh air or sunshine. You will be able to tell a difference in our meat both in the color, texture and taste.
As an added benefit our pigs till the land for our produce fields.
You can buy your pork two ways. We sell by the whole or half animal or we sell individual cuts of meat that are butchered at a USDA inspected facility. Prices for these options can be found at the farm store link.
Produce
Our produce is 100% chemical free. We specialize in squash, corn and tomatoes but below is a full list of produce that we raise and sell.

Grass Fed Beef
Our beef is raised on my father’s property in Samantha, AL. Due to limited acreage to support beef cattle along with our other enterprises we only produce a limited number of cows per year however this allows us to give them daily attention and raise them on lush green grass. This technique results in high quality, excellent tasting beef.

Pastured Chicken and Eggs
Our chickens at Milligan Family Farms are allowed to range out in the woods and green grass where they belong. They scratch, eat bugs, worms while enjoying a natural diet. Our chickens are fed non-GMO feed. With this diet you can see the difference in the color of the yolk and the taste of the egg.
